The Thermo Scientific informatics exhibit at PITTCON 2008 will feature Darwin 3.0,
the latest version of the innovative Laboratory Information Management System
(LIMS), which is purpose-built for pharmaceutical manufacturing R&D and QA/QC
laboratories. The added functionality in Darwin 3.0 demonstrates the company's
ability to offer one of the most comprehensive LIMS for this industry, which can be
tailored to a laboratory's specific workflow.

Also on display will be a "sneak preview" of a next-generation Thermo Scientific
Chromatography Data System (CDS), which integrates with LIMS and other data
management systems to control LC/GC instruments and modules from numerous vendors in
a manner that enables compliance with FDA regulations, including 21 CFR Part 11.
Visitors who are interested in seeing the preview of this new database-driven CDS
will also be entered to win a TomTom GPS navigation system if they submit a form to
the Informatics staff on booth.

industrial applications; Watson LIMS, the industry standard for bioanalytical
